최유진은 한국을 기반으로 활동하는 아티스트로, 미술, 패션, 사진, 디자인, 음악, 공연 등 다양한 영역을 넘나든다. 포스트 인터넷 세대로서 스크린 속 디지털 이미지와 현실의 간극, 그 안에서 피어나는 욕망과 슬픔을 탐구한다. 어린 시절 TV와 스마트폰으로 세상을 접하며, 손으로 만질 수 없는 대상에 대한 매혹과 결핍을 작업의 뿌리로 삼았다. 패션 스타일리스트와 SNS 콘텐츠 제작자로 활동하며 이미지 생산에 몰두했고, 음악 페스티벌과 레이브 경험을 통해 공간과 신체의 다차원적 상호작용에 눈떴다. 전형적인 규범을 우회하며 대안적 실천을 모색하는 그는, 퀴어한 삶과 욕망의 경계를 탐구한다. 2023년 한국예술종합학교 예술사 조형예술과를 졸업했으며, 2025년 같은 학교의 전문사 멀티미디어영상과에 진학해 실험을 이어갈 예정이다.

Yujin Choi is a multimedia artist based in Korea, working across visual art, fashion, photography, design, music, and performance. As a post-internet generation creator, they explore the gap between digital imagery and reality, delving into the desire and melancholy it evokes. Raised on TV and smartphone screens, they root their practice in the allure and absence of untouchable objects. From fashion styling and SNS content creation to immersive experiences at DMZ Festival and raves, they’ve embraced image-making and spatial interaction. Challenging norms, they seek alternative practices, probing queer identities and desires. Graduating from Korea National University of Arts’ Fine Art Department in 2023, they will pursue Multimedia Imaging there in 2025.
